EIZO's Re/Vue Recording Solution Improves Efficiency in Training & Simulation at Airservices Australia
Altamonte Springs, Florida, May 20, 2015 – EIZO today announced that Airservices Australia has installed Re/Vue recording and streaming solutions into its Learning Academy for training and simulation.
Air Traffic Services School in the Learning Academy supports 140 trainees per annum and delivers courses in Enroute, Approach, and Tower, preparing students for a career in air traffic control. Students learn using state-of-the-art simulators, which provide realistic scenarios. The requirement for high quality images and videos for simulation of real world scenarios and assessment of student performance is a top priority.
Airservices selected EIZO’s Re/Vue recording and streaming solution due to its exceptional video quality and flexible playback. This allows the training team to see exactly what the student sees and how they interact with the simulator system. Instructors also have the potential to remotely monitor progress of the student at any time.
“With the introduction of a new state-of-the-art simulator system, it became essential that a method of capturing quality images from the air situation displays be determine. The use of Re/Vue as a tool to create specific training scenarios for replay on PCs, laptops or tablet devices and the ability to capture high quality images for training documentation is immediately clear,” commented David Bailey, Simulator Integration Manager at the Air Traffic Services School.
