Hakusan, Japan, September 11, 2012 – Eizo Nanao Corporation (TSE: 6737) was included in the list of manufacturers with the first monitors that meet the criteria for the new TCO Certified Displays 6.0 label. The EIZO monitors that carry this label are the FlexScan EV2436W and FlexScan EV2416W. EIZO has several more monitors under application and expects they will be certified in the coming months.
TCO Certified is a sustainability certification for IT products from TCO Development of Sweden. EIZO has actively participated in the TCO labeling system for monitors since its inception in 1992. TCO Certified Displays 6.0 tightens some environmental and usability mandates and stipulates stricter changes to the CSR (corporate social responsibility) requirements.
