EIZO eBlue LED Backlight Technology

The Raptor SQ2814 is equipped with EIZO eBlue LED backlight technology - a unique blue LED direct backlight solution that offers superior brightness uniformity with a low variance of 1.05. This results in significantly smoother images compared to edge-type backlight solutions. With EIZO eBlue, the monitor can maintain brightness levels between 10 cd/m2 and 350 cd/m2 over a lifetime of more than 100,000 hours for long-lasting, consistent performance.

Energy Efficiency and Reduced Heat Generation

With EIZO eBlue LED backlight technology, the monitor consumes 100 watts at maximum brightness and just 50 watts under typical operating conditions in ATC centers. This saves energy and significantly reduces heat generation within the monitor, a leading cause of component failure.

Ergonomic Design and Durability

The Raptor SQ2814 comes with all the features and functionality of EIZO’s line of primary control monitors in a more compact design, weighing just 23.5 kg. The ergonomically designed stand offers tilt and swivel capability for flexible positioning. The monitor is built using full sheet steel industrial-grade housing for durability.

Non-Intrusive Hardware Calibration

The monitor comes equipped with EIZO’s hardware calibration functionality using the optional EIZO EACAL-R01 luminance reader. Easily accessed through the OSD menu, calibration of the backlight brightness, gamma, and white-point can be carried out in just minutes. No additional software is needed, ensuring calibration operation is non-intrusive to your system.

Noiseless, Fanless Operation

Engineered to dissipate heat without a fan, the monitor provides noiseless operation while still maintaining low heat output.

Backlight Stabilization

An automatic backlight stabilizer ensures your desired brightness settings are constantly maintained throughout the life of the backlight trays.

Complete Connection

Dual link DVI video signal inputs are included as well as the option of an additional DisplayPort or analog 5-BNC inputs. The monitor also comes equipped with a wide range of communication interfaces for connection to a network, remote monitor management, or maintenance purposes - RS232, RS422, USB, and TCP/IP.

Customization Options

Customize the monitor to meet the specific needs of individual control centers. Customization may include, but is not limited to, cabinet color, multiple video signal interfaces, a built-in secondary power supply, protection and reflection glass, communication interfaces, and warranty upgrades.

Simple OSD Operation

Frequently used functions, such as brightness, can be adjusted via a quick-access OSD menu. The main OSD menu provides a more thorough level of adjustment such as calibration, color temperature, gamma, backlight control, sharpness, and communication parameters. The main OSD can also be locked with the option of using a user-specified code to authorize access.
