What is the difference between a built-in calibration sensor and a built-in correction sensor?

Built-In Calibration Sensor

- A feature of the ColorEdge CG series. (CG276, CG275W, CG246, CG245W)

- This sensor can be used to calibrate the monitor the same as an external calibration sensor.

- This sensor can correlate to the measurement results of an external calibration sensor.

- ColorNavigator can make a color profile with this sensor.

- SelfCalibration function allows scheduled calibrating. (Period: Monthly, Weekly, Based on usage time)

 

Built-In Correction Sensor

- A feature of the ColorEdge CX and CS series.

- The function of this sensor is to mainten the display of color and brightness only.

- An external calibration sensor is necessary to make color profile.

- SelfCorrection function allows scheduled correction. (Period: Based on usage time)
